As an actor, Mary Neely has appeared in shows and films for 20th C Studios, MGM, Sony, Netflix, NBC, Comedy Central and Legendary.
As a writer and director, her short films and music videos have screened at SXSW, Palm Springs ShortFest, the Reykjavik International Film Festival, and the Final Girls Festival in Berlin. Her indie series WACKO SMACKO was licensed to YouTube and her film PINK TRAILER played as a pre-feature short before BOOKSMART.
Mary’s viral quarantine musical videos were named as The New York Times and The Washington Post’s “Best Theater of 2020.” She was named one of Adweek’s CREATIVE100, a “New Faces: Creators” at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival and in fall 2024 OR SOMETHING, a feature film she co-wrote & co-stars in with Kareem Rahma, will premiere at the Roxy Theater in Manhattan & screen at The SCAD Savannah Film festival.
